WHAT OUR YEAR 7 MATHS STUDENTS RECEIVE?

Small Classes

Our group classes are kept small, personalized and highly-focused groups of 2 to 6 students to allow our tutors plenty of time to work with each student. As the classes are small, each lesson group is formed from students whose individual needs and levels match one another.

Exam-Style Homework

Our 100+ pages of exam-style homework is expected to be completed and will be fully marked each week or topic, with review and solutions detailing every point of improvement.

Workshop and Homework Assist

We run individual workshop tutorials and homework assist sessions with our experienced teachers. During the session, you can ask any questions, you might need some help with your school work or you might want to learn some new knowledge.

Comprehensive Theory Book

We provide our students with comprehensive materials, to supplement their classroom study and ensure that they’re well-prepared for exams. 300+ pages of content designed to help our students gain an in-depth understanding of key concepts and exam techniques.

End of Term Topic Test

Topic tests are conducted at the completion of each major topic in which students are assessed under exams conditions, with marks and vital statistics reported in the End of Term report.

Learning Community

Login to our Learning Management System you can access our online learning resources including videos, exam-style homework and past papers. Also we provide a social learning platform to enhance and encourage teacher to student and student to student interaction.

Piv Huot has over 35 years experiences of teaching Mathematics including Extension 2 from Year 7 to Year 12, mentoring and coaching new teachers to teach Maths Extension 1 and 2. In addition to serving as the headteacher of mathematics at a private school, he has also been a maths teacher at James Ruse Agricultural High School and Baulkham Hills High School.

Maggie majored in Mathematics and Psychology in her bachelor degree; she then went on to completing a Master of Teaching. She became a certified secondary teacher who had taught in both public and private secondary and primary schools, plus more than 2 years experience in one-on-one/small group tutoring with K-12 students. Recently, she furthered her studies by completing a Master of Data Science in Macquarie University.

Gurpearl Singh has nearly 10 years experience teaching high school students. He has experience of teaching a wide range of students as he is a mathematics teacher at a selective high school. Gurpearl has a strong passion for teaching mathematics and science. He also has more than 5 years experience tutoring students preparing for the Selective School and Opportunity Class Placement examinations at Pre-Uni, James An and Edu-Kingdom.

Enthusiastic, dedicated and goal-driven teacher, with more than 15 years’ experience in primary & high school settings. Taught both Junior and Senior High School levels. Besides of preparation of teaching lessons and school activities, Becky has been a Mathematics reviewer in a mock public examination for Student Guidance Centre and an award-winning instructor for an inter-high school math competition. Becky is familiar with math curriculum in Australia particularly NSW math syllabus.
